Ms. Harford has more than 15 years of experience providing legal counsel to publicly and privately held companies on a broad array of regulatory, transactional and commercial litigation matters involving financial markets and financial products. Over the course of her career, she has developed a deep knowledge of commodities and securities market regulation. Ms. Harford also has counseled U.S.-based companies on international trade finance transactions, including transactions supported by private insurers and the U.S. Export-Import Bank.
Prior to joining the Matrix Global family of companies, Ms. Harford was deputy general counsel of INTL FCStone Inc. There she served a number of the company’s diversified financial products businesses, with a focus on its futures clearing, physically-traded products and trade finance businesses. She began her career at Sidley Austin LLP, where she advised on securities enforcement and litigation and corporate governance matters.
Ms. Harford received her Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University.
