James Maranis is a technology executive and leader with over 25 years’ experience. He has a solid track record for delivering solutions, technology and driving business strategy.
Innovative and outcome focused with a combination of commercial skills and experience, Mr. Maranis has strong technical knowledge. He’s held several CEO positions for both private and public companies, delivering large scale global developments for banks and exchanges across a variety of financial applications. He has served as an executive manager for several major banks and was the CEO of a publicly listed company in Australia (Razor Risk) between 2002 and 2008. In this capacity, together with his team, Mr. Maranis established the company as a leading global provider of risk technology with offices across EMEA and the Americas, maintaining a dual listing in Australia and the UK. His responsibilities included business operations, strategy and compliance, business development, M&A activities and capital raising.
More recently between 2009 and 2016, Mr. Maranis was a principle and co-founder of Four Bells Advisory, providing strategy, guidance and business development for APAC companies with innovative businesses wanting to expand throughout EMEA and the Americas.
He holds bachelor degrees in computer science and business administration and has a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney.
